La Piada – a fine piadina bar in the heart of Zurich We were commissioned to develop the interior design and branding for La Piada in Zurich's Kreis 1 district – a place that combines authenticity, atmosphere, urban flair, and Italian joie de vivre. A deep aubergine welcomes guests as they enter – elegant, sensual, and inviting at the same time. The high ceiling gives the room a feeling of spaciousness and lightness, while fine details and natural materials create a balance between urban sophistication and Italian down-to-earthness. As part of the interior concept, we designed and created our own wooden stool – minimalist in design, functional in form, and perfectly matched to the materiality of the space. This transforms the small Piadina Bar into a place full of character where you want to linger – for a quick lunch or a long aperitivo.
