The Hotel Davoserhof has been converted into a boutique hotel that is now aimed at a modern clientele that treats itself to a weekend retreat in the mountains and at the same time appreciates contemporary furnishings. Through the conversion, pfeffermint has managed to interpret the house in a young way: With few but deliberate interventions, an inspiring, bright and at the same time warm and inviting atmosphere has been created. The contrasting interior breaks the traditional Arven wood finish with skillful accents, cozy wall colors and selected design objects.
For the furnishing of the 21 rooms, cooperations with design labels and artists were sought and supplemented with pieces specially designed by pfeffermint. The assortment of the collection can be purchased in the design kiosk next to the newly designed reception and taken home. The colorful lounge next to the reception has become a meeting point during the hotel stay. It has become a valuable living room where guests like to linger longer before moving on to the Piz Piz restaurant or the Rotliechtli nightclub, both of which have also been redesigned by pfeffermint in recent months.
